It requires an understanding of the type of that publication like books, magazines, journals, etc. Even throughout all these types of publications, content is specific to a subject or genre.

Directed monthly cover photoshoots and designed covers. Working closely with the editorial team I designed typography treatments to coordinate with articles in the magazine.

Wine Enthusiast Restaurant Awards Issue

The restaurant awards issue required a lot of organization and coordination with the copywriting staff. I organized photography provided from various restaurants and designed the editorial spread so they all appeared cohesive.

Magazine Editorial Spreads
